Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Laira Green Primary School, the mental health and wellbeing of our pupils, staff, and families is a top priority. We believe that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health, and we work to create a caring, safe, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. By fostering a culture of care and understanding, we aim to ensure every child has the opportunity to feel a strong sense of belonging.
Our approach includes:
- Nurturing Relationships: Pupils are encouraged to build positive connections with staff and peers, helping them feel valued, supported, and part of our school community.
- Developing Resilience and Self-Esteem: Through tailored activities and everyday learning experiences, children are guided to overcome challenges, build confidence, and develop coping strategies.
- Well-Being Programs and Initiatives: We offer a range of programs to promote emotional health, mindfulness, and positive social skills, helping pupils thrive academically and personally.
