Laira Green Primary School is looking for a parent or carer to join our Governing Body as a Parent Governor.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an active role in our school community and help shape the future of our school. As a Parent Governor, you will work alongside our governors, school leaders and staff to support the continued development of Laira Green Primary and help ensure the very best outcomes for all our children.
You don’t need previous experience of being a governor - what matters is that you are interested in our school, committed to supporting our children and families, and willing to share your ideas and perspectives.
As a Parent Governor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute to important decisions about the future of our school
• Bring the views and experiences of parents and carers to the Governing Body
• Work collaboratively with staff and fellow governors
• Support our vision, values and priorities for our pupils
